Espacio SOLO museum is one of the pillars of SOLO’s mission to support the contemporary arts scene. Located in Madrid’s ‘Paseo del Arte’, Espacio SOLO houses and displays the collection’s holdings through rotating temporary exhibitions.
Designed by Juan Herreros, it was awarded the prestigious Madrid College of Architect’s Prize in 2018.
Espacio SOLO is a 1.500 m2 space in permanent change. Imagined from the outset as a private museum with multiformat content, the design of the space was developed as the art collection grew. It is intimate yet open. It is a workplace, a space to enjoy leisure time, a meeting point, a hub where people can come together and all kinds of dialogues can arise. A space dedicated to contemporary art and a unique venue for exclusive events.
