Kotaro Abe is a Japanese creative tech enthusiast turned artist who loves to experiment with new forms of communication and new forms of interaction. He uses his background in engineering and coding mixed with his studies of design in order to create immersive works that direct our brains to question current social issues.
Abe first studied in Key University in Tokyo where he got a BA in Environmental Information Studies. He then moved to London where he got an MA in Design Interactions at the Royal College of Art.
He has received global acclaim for his work, most notably, exhibited in Ars Electronica Festival, The Language of London Sonar Festival Barcelona, ACM SIGGRAPH, among many others.
