After a hugely successful ARCOmadrid, Colección SOLO headed to New York this week for the Armory Show, the USA’s premier international art fair. And the trip hasn’t been in vain, with works by three new artists joining our collection.
At Armory Modern, CJ Pyle’s woven knot portraits in two-tone ball pen stood out from the crowd, while in the Contemporary section, Colección SOLO fell for the Hopper-like observations of French newcomer Pierre Seinturier.
Over at Pier 90, Volta New York is already in it’s ninth year. The fair’s solo-focussed booths enable visitors to get a real sense of individual artists’ work and for Colección SOLO it was a genuine pleasure to discover Korean artist Keunmin Lee at Shin Gallery.
In short, three genuine talents that Colección SOLO is proud to bring on board.
